As an aquarium located within Setonaikai National Park, we have arranged our exhibits focusing on the Seto Inland Sea, in order to broadly convey the nature and characteristics of the Seto Inland Sea.

From the finless porpoises, which are known as "whales of Setouchi," to the penguins, otters, seals, and sea lions , Miyajima Public Aquarium is home to many loveable creatures.
There are also many events where you can interact with sea creatures. We hope you experience the appeal of these creatures up-close.
Inspired by Miyajima, a place of scenic beauty that represents Japan, Miyajima Public Aquarium now contains a space where you can feel beauty with a uniquely Japanese style.
